While Persona 5 Royal is a PlayStation 4 exclusive, there are plenty of people who would love to see it ported to another console. Many suspected the title would make it to the Switch when something called Persona 5 S was teased a while back, but it turned out to be an entirely new game, Persona 5 Scramble. This hasn’t deterred fans who are still holding out hope that it makes its way to the Nintendo console at some point in the future. There is a good reason for them to keep it up too, as developer Atlus recently stated that a Persona 5 Royal port is possible if fans continue to ask for it.
Those who played the original will find a lot of new content to explore. Aside from the new Phantom Thief, Kasumi, there are also multiple endings, an extra school term, which will give the story more room to breathe and expand, and a whole lot more. There is even DLC that features past protagonists from Persona 3 and 4.
Persona 5 Royal will release in North America on March 31 for the PS4.
