People Can Fly Strengthening Recruitment Efforts In Cracow And Lviv

Of course, People Can Fly has been busy around the globe with other growth efforts and new games. Within the past couple of years, People Can Fly has rebranded Phosphor Studios as People Can Fly Chicago, acquired the Game On studio in Montreal, and also acquired Incuvo, a studio known for its work on Blair Witch VR. Between all of its studios, People Can Fly is currently working on Outriders’ Worldslayer expansion, Project Gemini with Square Enix, Project Dagger with Take-Two interactive, a game it intends to self-publish, and a VR project. People Can Fly’s growth hasn’t ended, though.

People Can Fly recently announced, via a press release, that it is strengthening recruitment efforts in two cities: Lviv in Ukraine and Cracow in Poland. These efforts translate to job offers in these two locations, accessible on People Can Fly’s career website. As of now, People Can Fly doesn’t intend to open new studios in these locations, but the company doesn’t rule out the possibility of it in the near future either.

Of this development, People Can Fly CEO Sebastian Wojciechowski commented that the company intends to strengthen initiatives within its Group, provide more of an impulse to develop, but doesn’t want to overall change the structure of its offices for now. “Our priority is to make our company constantly move forward, to be ‘full of life,’ hence new initiatives,” says Wojciechowski.

More specifically, Wojciechowski also commented on these two locations: “In Ukraine, we’ve observed a great interest in our offer for developers. In Cracow, we succeeded in creating a team, which we intend to grow with a new project in mind.” Overall, People Can Fly currently employs nearly 500 people from across the world, including Warsaw, Rzeszow, Lodz, Newcastle, New York, Chicago, Montreal, and in a remote work system.

Many People Can Fly workers remain remote, with few going into the office. People Can Fly puts the safety of its developers first amid the ongoing pandemic, as People Can Fly Canada President Sam Girardin commented in an interview with Game Rant that the company’s “first reflex is to protect them and to not push them going back to the office that fast.”

Outriders is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
