This track is much flatter than that of Atlanta and tire wear will be less of an issue. So, this week drivers like Kyle Larson, who had the fastest car on the track for the majority of the first two stages last week, could have less to worry about on that front.

But the fact is, while Keselowski kind of came out of nowhere to win last week, he has a great chance to win this time from the start. Keselowski has three career wins at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and has finished no worse than seventh over his last seven races there.

He has to be the first guy you look at when doing evaluations for this race, as he has a great chance to win again.

But while we’d love to pick him, we are going to go with Martin Truex Jr., who is coming off of a second-place finish in Atlanta and has finished third, fourth and first in his last three races in Nevada, respectively.

Kyle Larson has to get a win sometime right? He has gone 48 races without a victory despite leading 142 laps a week ago. Las Vegas could logically be the race where he wins as he had the fastest car on a similar track in Atlanta. He has finished second, third and second, respectively, in his last three races in Nevada.

Kyle Busch seems to be the only driver this year who has had success in both races with a second-place finish at Daytona and a sixth in Atlanta. He made a move late to get into contention last week, and has a career win in Las Vegas along with four top 10s, including a second in his last seven races there.

Ryan Blaney hasn’t shown his best yet this season with a 31st and 22nd in two races, but Las Vegas may be the race to get him going. Blaney has four top 10s in his five career races in Las Vegas with two fifth-place finishes in his last two races in Nevada.

One sleeper for the Pennzoil Oil 400

Daniel Suarez has a short track record at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with only three races to his name. But he finished eighth there in the playoffs and has had a lot of success in Xfinity and the Truck Series there, as well, with four top 10s in five races between those two competitions.
