Penn State Qb Christian Hackenberg Drills Ref In Head With Pass

Hackenberg, on the Nittany Lions’ second drive of the afternoon, had receiver Chris Godwin wide open over the middle on the play, but his pass hit the umpire in the head as he went down. It was one of Hackenberg’s nine first-quarter incompletions. He ended the frame 3 of 12 for 19 yards.
