Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight is a television series based on the comic book superhero of the same name. Marc Spector and Steven Grant share the same body, with Spector being the one who adopts the Moon Knight persona. Moon Knight has multiple personality disorder, which explains the multiple personalities that inhabit his brain.

Oscar Isaac, who plays Steven Grant/Marc Spector, recently joked about the idea of Moon Knight fighting Star Wars’ Mandalorian/Din Djarin. “Moon Knight would definitely win, and who cares if Pedro agrees because it’s fact. You can’t argue facts,” lsaac said to Remezcla. Isaac and Pascal are both friends in real life. Pascal plays the Mandalorian in the titular heroes’ live-action Star Wars series, and he actually had a response for his friend. Pascal went on to say to the same outlet, “That’s so sweet. Maybe Moon Knight would beat The Mandalorian at Scrabble, but not a fight.”
The hilarious back and forth was a nice lighthearted moment for fans of both franchises. Both shows stream on Disney Plus and both have positive receptions, so this fight makes sense in that regard. As far as an actual fight goes, it depends on what version of Moon Knight fans will be getting in this series, as this version looks much stronger than the average crime fighter. Mandalorian, however, has the indestructible Beskar steel armor, but Moon Knight can easily rip off the helmet, assuming he can dodge the laser blasts.
The fight might be more entertaining than one would assume, but the only official fight that fans will ever see is a battle of views, as both shows bring numerous amounts of viewers to Disney Plus. The Mandalorian season 3 is rumored to be coming out this summer, but right now there’s no official release date. It would likely be released at the end of summer since Obi-Wan Kenobi is releasing at the end of May and it’s not the greatest idea to have two shows overlap or release too close together.
Moon Knight debuts new episodes every Wednesday, so expect a few more weeks of this popular show before Marvel starts gearing up for its summer and fall releases. Fans also have the Doctor Strange sequel to look forward to, which is supposed to push a lot of boundaries.
Moon Knight is now streaming on Disney Plus.
